Personal Story Board Project--This is a NON computer project.

You need to be working at one of the tables. No one should be on the computers.

  1. The PreProduction
    • You will completed a 20 shot story board based on a Fairy Tale or Classic story
      • (example--What happened with the 3 pigs after the wolf fell into the pot?)
    • You may work with up to 4 other people (so a group cannot have more than 5)
      • Everyone in the group must have a roll in the story. So make sure you write/create enough parts
    • It must be complete with varying shots and must start with an establishing shot
      • As you draw, think of how this will be filmed. You have limited resources and time
    • Make sure it could be filmed and brought to life from your Story Board
    • You will need a written script for each person
  2. The Production
    • Film your storyboard
    • Shorts must be easy to follow (so basically as I watch the video, I should be able to match it to the Storyboard)
      • You can use poster, white boards, paper and other things to bring this to life--Be creative
    • Filming must take place as one continuous shot (remember, 20 shots is not long if you have movement). You cannot stop and start the recording since we are NOT using any video editing software
    • You can use one of the class cameras, a camera of a group member or a cell phone with a video camera (see Mrs. Ferris for more info on this)
  3. Grading
    • Turn in your video (Mrs. Ferris will help with this)
    • Storyboard
    • Script
    • DUE by the end of class on January 20th (no extensions since the semester is almost over)
